Clinical Trials Regimens in which nitroglycerin patches were worn for 12 hours daily have been studied in wellcontrolled trials up to 4 weeks in duration. ADVERSE REACTIONS Adverse reactions to nitroglycerin are generally dose related, and almost all of these reactions are the result of nitroglycerins activity as a vasodilator.
